Understanding Modules
Modules are the fundamental building blocks of the Netrun ecosystem. Each module is an independent system that focuses on producing specific kinds of programmable non-fungible assets or capabilities.
What is a Module?
A module is an incentive-based competition marketplace that produces a specific kind of digital asset related to non-fungible systems. It consists of:
- —Developers who build and produce the assets
- —Validators who measure the developers' work and ensure quality according to module-specific standards
Module Independence
Each module is its own community, with its own goal, operating according to its own standards. This allows for specialized development and quality assurance tailored to specific use cases.
To explore existing modules, check out the listings on Netrun.xyz, or engage with Netrun communities on Discord.
Creating a Module
Module builders can create new modules that specify the work developers and validators must perform and evaluate. This enables the Netrun ecosystem to expand and cover new use cases over time.
For detailed information on creating your own module, see the Developer Guide.
