Netrun is governed by its community through a decentralized governance system powered by NET tokens.

How Governance Works

NET token holders can participate in governance by:

• —Submitting proposals for protocol changes
• —Voting on active proposals
• —Delegating voting power to representatives

Proposal Types

• —Protocol Upgrades - Changes to core protocol parameters
• —Treasury Allocation - Funding for ecosystem development
• —Module Approval - Adding new modules to the ecosystem

Voting Power

Voting power is determined by the amount of NET tokens staked. 1 NET = 1 vote. Tokens must be staked for at least 7 days before they can be used for voting.
